WSU published the attached paper on foundation (imported) Wagyu animals, their parentage and the relationships between such foundation animals.

The attached presentation slide deck was produced in 2008 by Dr. Charlie Gaskins of Washington State University (“WSU”).  It includes information about the major “lines” of Wagyu cattle exported from Japan, along with the general characteristics of each, and also includes diagrams of the relationships of the imported foundation animals.
