How to Update Your Active Herd In Digital Beef For CAR
On 12/4/2017 the AWA provided via email to AWA members a tutorial showing how to “update a member’s active herd” which is a necessary component of implementing CAR (Complete Animal Reporting). This is necessary because under the CAR fee structure it is necessary for the AWA to know which animals are active within a member’s herd since fees charged to members will be dependent upon such under CAR. This process includes review of the animals listed as active in the AWA registry using the Digital Beef system, and “disposing” of any animals that are no longer active because they have been sold, died, etc. See the attached, which is the tutorial sent out by the AWA office in PDF file format.
